The AGM for 2019 was held in The Broker pub, Leigh-on-Sea on Tuesday 21st May.
Paul Driscoll (1979) was voted back in as President for the ninth consecutive year.
Liam Rand (1977) remains as Membership Secretary for the third year of his second three-year term and Kevin Thomas (1978) remains Treasurer for the first year of a second three-year term.
The big discussion was a proposal by the Executive to abolish membership fees. A variety of options were discussed by those present and the proposal was unanimously accepted. The fees were, as a result, abolished on 1st June 2019, although donations will, of course, be gratefully accepted to ensure that funds remain robust for some years to come.
